Traveling For This Shoot
Yes, we are wedding photographers based in Knoxville TN, but when we have a chance to travel….we do! This styled shoot in New Haven, Connecticut looked like something out of a magazine! New Haven is just a quaint little town full of old homes stuffed with history, the bay, sailboats, comfy little restaurants and coffee houses. The theme for this shoot was burberry and brass and I can’t believe that I never blogged about this! I mean, how did I just forget to blog about this dream winter wedding?
Why I Did This Shoot
Around this time two years ago I finally decided to make the investment in a thing called Walk Through A Wedding with the amazing power couple photographers Justin and Mary. I had never spent a lot of money on workshops or continued education for my photography and felt that it was past time to do so. I must say, the money and time spent was well worth it! The workshop was not only educational, it was fun and really stirred up so many things for the upcoming year in business. Another added bonus to the workshop was that I met some incredible attendees and we are still great friends!
The Outcome
This shoot was a dream! We worked with some amazing New Haven wedding vendors. The theme of the styled shoot was perfect for winter and lets just say the added snow storm set things over the top! If it was going to snow durning a styled shoot, I’m happy it happen durning this one!
