Downtown Charleston Engagement Session | Bivins and Brittani

Charleston Engagement Session | Bivins and Brittani This downtown Charleston engagement session was so much fun! I shot Bivins and Brittani’s proposal session last week (see it here) in the Great Smoky Mountains. I love the Smokies, but I’m always up for a downtown Charleston engagement session! I’m very familiar with Charleston because I had family that lived there for years, so it’s always fun to return. Downtown Charleston is historic and beautiful. Every bend and turn there’s something new to see and explore. With alleyways, doorsteps, colorful buildings, and cobblestone streets, Charleston has it all! Tuesday Evening When Bivins asked me to meet them in Charleston I said yes! Charleston is always a yes in my book! We

Wilderness Conversations || Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park

Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park “Aren’t you scared to travel by yourself?” That’s the question I get asked over and over again. My response is always, “Well, the worst thing that could happen is I could die.” People always look at me like I’m crazy. I continue by saying “Well think of it like this… if I had to tell a story around a campfire in heaven of how I got there, I’d want it to be Epic! Who knows how I may die, but I’d rather take my chances and have a cool story to tell than play it safe and miss out on adventures!” People then kind of laugh and say they get it, but something inside

Dear 2020, I’m breaking up with you!

“When she was a child, my love carried a road map in her hand the way other girls carried handkerchiefs.” ― Roman Payne Dear 2020, I’m breaking up with you. It’s not you, it’s me….well kinda. You see, I don’t like to stay stuck in toxic places, and for the most part, well you were just that! Let me start off by saying I would have never thought the world would stop, for you, but it did. There are so many things I could go into here, but to make it simple you were selfish. Above all, I will say thank you for all the madness that you brought. Yes, you read that right, THANK YOU! You may not feel

First, we talk about the relationship and what he has in his mind. After that we make it happen. One major thing, don’t try and compete with other people or worry about having the ‘best or greatest’ proposal. Above all, she’s going to love it and that’s all that matters.
