Savage Gardens Knoxville TN Engagement Session
This Savage Gardens Knoxville TN engagement session was so fun to shoot! Savage Gardens is a private garden here in Knoxville, which isn’t open to the public. Ivy’s uncle actually works there. He got us a one time granted a pass to photograph their engagement session there and I’m so thankful he did.
I had never even heard of this little treasure in Knoxville, but boy did it not disappoint! Their engagement session turned out so good! I was so excited I came and edited it the next day.
About The Gardens
Here’s some info about the gardens that I found on https://gardenmontessori.org
Arthur Savage, an immigrant from Leamington Spa, England, built the house and garden during World War I. Savage was president of the Ty-Sa-Man company, located in what is now World’s Fair Park.
Savage loved rock gardens, and established several in East Tennessee. The garden was inspired by Japanese garden designs, which had become popular through the early 20th century Art Nouveau movement. Work on the garden began in 1917, and was completed sometime during the following decade.
Marcus and Ivy
Marcus and Ivy are getting married next May at Cruze Farms and I’m so pumped! Unless someone books a wedding there before theirs, this will be my first time shooting there. From what I’ve seen and heard Cruze Farms is beautiful and I’d expect nothing less from the Cruze family!
This couple has been a dream to work with so far! Easy going and excited are for sure two words to describe them. For sure a perfect match for me!
Until The Wedding
Until the wedding day, enjoy these images of this sweet couple! Leave them some love in the comments below and share it on your social media pages. Enjoy Marcus and Ivy’s Savage Gardens Knoxville TN engagement session!
Best Wishes,
