Proposal Photographer In Knoxville TN || Luke and Alaina

Knoxville TN Proposal Photographer A while back I got an email from Luke. He explained that he was moving to Knoxville, TN and he’d be here over a long weekend soon. Also, he told me while he was here his girlfriend was going to be visiting and he wanted to propose to her. Luke told me that he had started planning some things like getting her family here and he was looking for a proposal photographer in Knoxville, TN. I emailed him back and told him to call me when he was free. Proposals are tricky, especially if they are with their girlfriend a lot. He called me when he was alone and we started planning. The end result was

Ramble Creek Weddings

Friday Weddings Ramble Creek weddings are amazing but have one on a Friday and it’s simply divine! There’s something about a couple that chooses to not have a traditional Saturday wedding that I adore. As we all know, weddings normally happen on a Saturday. However, off-day weddings are becoming a thing and I love it! To me, it seems that non-Saturday weddings end up being more chill. From the vendors to the guest to the couple, things seem to be a little more relaxed. I can get used to that! I like non-traditional things, especially after 14 years of doing wedding photography, it’s a nice change of pace. I think moving forward after this past year we will start seeing

Smith Hallow Farm Wedding || Seth and Jacquelyn || Kernersville, NC

Rolling With It What do you do when your client contacts you and tells you that her postponed wedding (due to the world shutting down) has been rescheduled in three weeks? YOU ROLL WITH IT, and you enjoy every minute of it! This is what happened with Seth and Jacquelyn’s wedding. They did not want to push their wedding date out any further, so they didn’t. They found a venue near their home in North Carolina and decided to have it there rather than here in Knoxville. Thankfully, I was available to photograph their Smith Hallow Farm wedding! Everything went perfectly and as you can see it was beautiful! The Wedding Day I loaded up the car to head out

Wedding at The Barn of 1810 || Morristown, TN Wedding Photographer

Morristown, TN Wedding Venue Caleb and Kayla had their wedding at The Barn of 1810 this past weekend and I was there to celebrate! It had been a while since I had photographed a wedding at The Barn of 1810, so I was super excited. If you are a wedding vendor and you’ve ever worked there, you know it’s always a joy and that it will be a super chill day (thanks Alice!) Kayla’s mom booked me a while back and we had been corresponding via email and phone. I meet Caleb and Kayal shortly after and I knew that this couple would be easy to work with, and they were! The Wedding Day The wedding day came and

The Press Room Spring Wedding || Knoxville, TN || Justin and Brianna

The Press Room Spring Wedding The Press Room spring wedding of Justin and Brianna was truly magazine-worthy! I love the fact that this couple wanted a more intimate wedding, but wanted to do it with glam! If you guys know Brianna, then you are not surprised! She’s the sweetest, but she is always dolled up (southern phrase for fancy). I know her wedding would not disappoint in the fancy department!  The Press Room spring wedding had to be moved from last year. Brianna’s family is from New Jersey and a lot of them couldn’t travel due to travel restrictions. Even though they went ahead and got married last year they still wanted to celebrate when they could! Even though moving

Whitestone Inn Rainy Wedding

Whitestone Inn Rainy Wedding Morgan and Rebecah’s Whitestone Inn rainy wedding was beautiful! If you’ve ever been to a wedding at Whitestone Country Inn then you understand what I mean when I say beautiful. Waterfront acreage with rolling hills, white picket fence, horses grazing in the field, and if you are lucky you may see an eagle or two. Yes it truly is a “sanctuary for the soul” and I’m so thankful for my fond memories of this place (a dear friend of mine was the original creator of Whitestone) A little (ok a lot) of rain didn’t stop this couple from having a blast with their closest friends and family. I won’t lie I always hate when there’s rain
