Getting Ready

The Foundry At The Fair Site summer wedding of Corey and Jerlissa was amazing! The couple started out their day getting ready at Corey’s parent’s house in Dandridge, TN. We arrived and were greeted by their bridal party of 21. Yes, you read that correctly … 21! Don’t let that number overwhelm you, the whole crew was amazing!

The First Look

Once we photographed everyone getting ready, we transitioned to the first look. Ok, let’s pause here! Corey has a best friend Malik, who decided to pull a prank on him. Malik dressed up in a wedding dress with a hat and a veil and took the place of Jerlissa. I have included those photos below because it was hilarious to see Corey’s confused face!

We did, of course, do a real first look where the bride and groom finally got to see each other before the wedding. I always love doing first looks. I love the first look. It’s a way for the bride and groom to spend a few extra moments with each other before the day begins and guest arrives. Corey and Jerlissa also did something that I absolutely love, they read personal vows to each.

The Ceremony and Reception

After photos were completed, we headed to the First Baptist Church of Dandridge for their ceremony.

Once the ceremony was completed we drove to downtown Knoxville, TN to The Foundry At The Fair Site. This is the first time we had ever shot a wedding at The Foundry At The Fair Site and the venue did not disappoint!

Corey and Jerlissa had The Foundry At The Fair Site decorated so beautiful! Everything was so classy, the food was tasty and the cake and ice cream (from Cruze Farm) was a perfect treat!

This couple danced the night away with all their closest friends. I can for sure say it was a party and a wedding to remember!
