The Reserve At Bluebird Hill Summer Wedding
The Reserve At Bluebird Hill summer wedding of Payton and Rachel was the perfect way to start off a new season. I loved working with this couple!
When I first heard from Rachel her and Payton were living in Alaska. They were a referral to me and goodness were they for sure the perfect fit! I didn’t get to meet them until they were in TN to visit family and I shot their engagement session while they were here.
They planned the whole wedding from Alaska with the help of Just Breath Event Planning. I love how technology can make wedding planning go smoothly from anywhere in the world! Add in some great wedding vendors and this couple was able to plan their wedding stress free.
Potato
If you are wondering why did I title the paragraph Potato then let me explain. I like to talk about anything in a wedding that is unique. Payton and Rachel had their dog as the flower girl aka flower pup! Her name was Potato! Yes her name is hilarious to say the least, but if anyone knows me I was slightly obsessed with this pup!
Potato is a yellow lab that is adorable. She behaved so well, better than most children to be honest! Dogs don’t get cranky when they need a nap, they just nap! She wore a pretty leather collar and leash which was adorned with flowers from LB Floral.
The Wedding
The wedding went perfect! Payton and Rachel hired some of the best wedding vendors in Knoxville, TN, so I had no doubt in the outcome of the day. Even in 95-degree weather the team pulled together to make everything come together.
I didn’t have The Reserve At Bluebird Hill summer wedding last summer, so it had been a while since I had been there. It was so good to be back! The grounds were beautiful!
One thing I loved that Payton and Rachel did was take about fifteen minutes at sunset (after photos) to be alone. Most couples don’t take the time to do this, but I think it’s super important to have a minute to breathe.
Payton and Rachel, I pray you continue to go on adventures together with Potato!
Cheers,
Tonya
